The artists who are associated with Salem Art Works, through participation in our residency program, teaching a workshop, performing live at an event or presenting a lecture, are a vital group whose contributions to the Salem community are as vital to SAW as our facility and atmosphere is to the work made here. From a variety of educational backgrounds, geographic locations and demographics, artists who come to SAW have one thing in common: the desire to push the limits of their medium and creative output in a supportive yet rigorous environment. SAW welcomes artists from the surrounding area and around the world to its 120-acre arts center to partake in any number of programs and events. Utilizing our work spaces, foundry, hot glass facility, outdoor stages, and the surrounding landscape will undoubtedly inspire your vision. Let us be your launching pad for new work.
